Guidelines for presenters
Oral Presentation guidelines
General information:
- All sessions are subject to a limit of 120 min.
- The time and time zone of the session are established within the program.
Presentation requirements:
Please prepare your presentation using the official presentation template for IDRiM2024
Conference, however there are some guidelines to follow:
- Prepare your slides as a PowerPoint file or a PDF
- Oral presentations will have a duration of 15 minutes, including Q&A, and 1 minute for switching the speaker. Chair persons of each session may change the order of the speakers if necessary.
- All presentations will be recorded, which will be later published on the UNGRD YouTube Channel. If you do not wish to be recorded during your presentation, please send us an email to the addresses mentioned above, no later than 23rd of August.
- We recommend to you to use a sans serif font such as Arial, Calibri or Helvetica.
- Use good quality pictures and graphics;
- Make sure there is enough contrast between the color of the text and the presentation’s background.
Presentation submission:
- Presentation should be submitted via email idrim2024@gestiondelriesgo.gov.co and matthews.ayuna.5n@kyoto-u.ac.jp no later than 9th of August.
- Please name the document after the presenting author (ppt or pdf)
- Also, when submitting your presentation, you should name the presenter and the title of the presentation in the subject line.
- If a presentation is too large to be sent by email, it can be shared through Google Drive, Dropbox, Wetransfer etc.

Poster session guidelines
General information:
- The poster session will be given 1 hour within the program
- Each presenter will have enough time to freely present their poster and have a fruitful discussion.
Poster requirements:
There is no official poster template for IDRiM2024 Conference, however there are some guidelines to follow:
- Poster presentations should be in a vertical orientation.
- We recommend to you to use a sans serif font such as Arial, Calibri or Helvetica.
- Make sure to use a font size big enough to make your content easily readable for other attendees.
- Use good quality pictures and graphics.
- Make sure there is enough contrast between the color of the text and the poster’s background.
- Please make sure to bring the poster printed. The organizing committee cannot take any responsibility for printing the posters.
